Michael H. Yi was born in Seoul, Korea and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area in the mid 1980s.  Mr. Yi received a Bachelors of Science from U.C.L.A. as an Applied Mathematics major and later worked as a paralegal for a complex litigation law firm in San Francisco prior to attending law school.  

Mr. Yi received a Juris Doctorate from San Francisco Law School where he was awarded the Witkin's award in professional responsibility and worked as a certified law clerk for the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. While at the S.F.D.A.'s Office, Mr. Yi worked in the misdemeanor, homicide and writs and appeals units.  


Mr. Yi returned to Los Angeles, California to continue his legal practice. Mr. Yi worked as an associate attorney for the Law Offices of Michael Jay Berger in Beverly Hills, California where he worked in the chapter 11 department.  

In addition, Mr. Yi has successfully litigated hundreds of civil disputes on behalf of corporate and individual clients as a solo practitioner at the Law Offices of Michael H. Yi  


Mr. Yi specializes in bankruptcy, personal injury and business litigation and he is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before all of the Superior Courts in the state of California and the United States District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California.  Mr. Yi is a proud member of the Korean American Bar Association (KABA), and the Central District Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Association (CDCBAA).


Ian C. Madrosen was born in Portland, Oregon and grew up in Davis, California. Prior to law school, he spent several years as a PGA certified golf instructor at Lighthouse Golf and Country Club in West Sacramento, California. Mr. Madrosen received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of California, Davis, with Minors in English Literature an Political Science.

Mr. Madrosen received a Juris Doctorate from San Francisco Law School. During law school, Mr. Madrosen worked as a certified law clerk for the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office where he concentrated on trial work in the misdemeanor unit.

After law school, Mr. Madrosen worked as an attorney for Yaron & Associates in San Francisco, California where he specialized in defense litigation in the areas of complex litigation, product liability, construction defect, and business litigation. Mr. Madrosen concentrated in trial work, successfully defending hundreds of cases.

Mr. Madrosene specializes in litigation – both personal injury and business litigation. He is dedicated to achieving the highest possible result for his clients.

Mr. Madrosen is a member of the State Bar of California, and has been admitted to practice before all Courts in the State of California, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of California.
